We have finalized plans for our 3rd Annual Fall Festival. This year, the Festival will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hubert By-Pass Park; 220 Hubert Boulevard; Hubert, NC 28539. Admission is free and tickets will be sold for the individual booths for everyone to participate. We will have a cake walk, face painting, Pie Bake Off, Pumpkin Painting, Costume Contest, Duck Pond, and much more. And of course, we will have a Voter Registration table set up. Please share this information with all your friends, family, and neighbors.
We will need precincts to step up and volunteer for each of the booths. I believe the Duck Pond is taken. We will need volunteers to handle the costume contest, pumpkin patch where kids can decorate little mini-pumpkins, cake walk, face painting, pie bake off, ticket sales, and much more. We really need for everyone and precincts to step up to the plate and volunteer some time. Please let Will Argenbright, Laura Deptola, or myself know that you can volunteer.
We will have Trunk-or-Treat and are asking our candidates, elected officials, and precincts to sponsor a "trunk(s)". Also, there will be winners selected for the best decorations.
Volunteers are needed to participate and submit pies in the Pie Bake off. Winners will be announced. Anyone wishing to participate should email or text Laura Deptola or myself.
We also need donations of cakes for our cake walk. If you would like to donate cakes for the Cake Walk, please contact Debra Waller at [email protected].
